Our Guiding Principle Is Grace
Our primary psychologist, Erin McCormick, believes therapy is a collaborative process between the client and clinician. It requires trust and mutual respect, which is why we approach every interaction with the kindness and compassion everyone deserves. In her own words,
“When others have shown this grace to me, I have grown in the most unexpected ways.”
Our client-focused approach echoes and embodies these beliefs so you may feel the acceptance that comes from the gift of grace.
CLINIC DIRECTOR
Erin McCormick
Clinical & Forensic Psychologist, M.A., C. Psych
I am a registered clinical and forensic psychologist with more than 20 years experience. I worked for two decades in Correctional Services Canada, providing psychological services and supervising mental health clinicians. I have held management positions including Chief Psychologist, Intermediate Mental Health Services, Kingston Penitentiary; Chief Psychologist, Mental Health Services, Millhaven Institution; and Chief Psychologist, Acute Unit, Regional Treatment Centre. I then worked for the Department of National Defence with members of the Armed Forces as a clinical and operational psychologist in an operational unit. During this time, I maintained a private practice clinic, providing therapy to adults and adolescents.
More recently, I have worked at Springboard Clinic as a Supervising Psychologist specializing in treating people with attention and focus challenges, including those diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder). I use evidenced-based treatment determined by the presenting issues and goals of every individual. I am passionate about walking alongside people as they learn to accept themselves, discover their strengths and create strategies to manage their symptoms.

Mark Kotchapaw
Couples Counsellor/Executive Coach
I once heard it said, everything worthwhile is uphill. Would you not agree that in order to have a strong marriage or partnership, it takes work? Relationships don’t just default to being trusting, transparent and honest. I have worked with many couples that are learning to show up differently in the relationship in order to carve out a new reality for their marriage or partnership. As one couple said, they are learning a new language. Many want to embrace a better future, but need help in navigating that path. Many know that they are not where they want to be, but need to know how to get to a better reality. Along with a Masters in Theological Studies, I have training in couple’s counselling from The Couple’s Institute and various other models. I am also a DISC Behavioural Consultant with training in relational health that I use as I come alongside leaders and the teams that they lead.
